The author had a penetrating understanding of how our minds run. This is one of my favourite books that he wrote. I have read it on The Internet Archive, but a publishing house had them take it down. Now I am lucky enough to have found my own copy thanks to second-hand bookshops and the people who feed them 📚

I'm re-reading this book and wondering at how different it seems from what I read before. Was the online version literally different, somehow? But I have to say I like both books very much :D
@semele I guess they could have been different editions 🤷. I looked for a copy, secondhand, online bookshop, but didn't find one. I'd like to read it. I spend some time thinking about Jung and entropy and life. I'm almost ready to write another essay!

@petercs
Maybe, that or I've changed radically in between readings!
It was by chance I looked online for second-hand books and found that - a sudden intimation.
I find the psychoanalytical stuff very fruitful, but am shocked that some people spend decades doing it, some going from one analyst to another. I prefer the active imagination approach. Think of the money you save! No, seriously, keep your own counsel ;-) in a way.

No easy task to write about entropy.
