Python Unplugged on PyTV – Free Online Python Conference

Watch Python Unplugged, a free online conference bringing together top Python community leaders – open to developers of any level.

JetBrains: Developer Tools for Professionals and Teams

I'm particularly looking forward to @pauleveritt's talk "Open Source in the Age of Coding Agents" and Travos Oliphant's talk "Community > Code: People Are What Make Python Thrive, and Why That Will Continue in an AI-Enabled Era".

These both feel really topical for the challenges open source maintainers are facing atm πŸ‘€ so hoping for inspiration maintaining Django 🀞

@sarahboyce Thanks buddy! My talk has morphed into a group chat with @willingc and Georgi on this topic.

I want to do a lot of listening this year, find out what the Python community thinks on this topic: β€œwas" (how did we get here), "is” (what exactly here means), and "will be" (what are we going to do about it.)

I'm also a speaker!
My talk is "Django Has a Marketing Problem: Debunking the Myths That Won't Die"

If that interests you, please attend! I'd love to have a discussion about the talk and feedback is also really welcome πŸ’œ

@sarahboyce First I'm hearing of it, I'll drop in between meetings!
