Ive reached a point in this project where i either have to give up or start outright winging it until i make it to the finish line

Its intended to be the canopy of a parasol, but i miscalcluated when initially planning the project and its radius is currently half of what it needs to be to fit the frame i bought to finish it. My plan to "double" the original pattern isnt going to work as i thought it would and there will be huge additional sections i have to design and execute on top of the original doubling and its just so overwhelming to think about bc circles and math and planning are difficult

Ive already frogged and rewoven so much of this thing so many times, im learning a LOT as i go but its just... a lot to know much more of that there is to get thru before its done

Im hoping that sharing here will help me get grounded and motivated to dive into the second "half" of this thing

Made from thrifted thread, used 2.75mm hook

@Irenetherogue Wow that is an absolutely gorgeous. I’m sorry you’re having such a hard time getting it to the right size. Maybe you can take a break from it for a while! Or use it for something else. It’s so pretty.
