@wolf480pl That is really interesting! I don't think I've seen those styles combined together before. I can see the brutalism in the concrete pillars and walls with holes in them, the solarpunk in the green ceiling beams, and the postmodernism with the layout of the floor and bookshelves. I'm used to seeing brutalism on the outside of buildings rather than the inside so it gives off a sense like the inside of the building is outdoors which probably adds to the solarpunk feel.

@wistahe yeah, it does feel very "inside is outside", especially that if you leave through the main entrance (between these columns in the middle of the photo) you end up in a paved sidewalk between the library half of the building and a second, commercial half of the building, but still under that same steel-glass roof!

Also, holy shit, gmaps has a streetview from the inside!

@sjb @wistahe I think they had some London-themed event at the time when these photos were taken, possibly in relation to Polish expats in London during WWII and Cold War.
