I've been busy moving, but I had some time to do something else so i watched Spotlight (2015) and now I am angry again. I need to clone myself 5 times so I can do all the things that need done.

@momo it's a good movie. really understands the feelings of knowing about systemic child abuse and having to wake up every day. it's like there's these despicable people who have power and authority over kids and the systems they're part of cover for them. and you have to just go cook dinner anyway.
@pollyglot Yes it is horrible and made me think a lot after I watched it.
When you are in a stable mood again and have time to do something else I would recommend watching Primal Fear, as it is about a similar topic and I like the acting of Edward Norton in this movie:

@pollyglot on a serious note tho yea it’s insanely fucked. when the movie came out it was 10 years on from the events taking place, now we’re 10 years on from the movie highlighting them again and the church still gets to maintain its status, political power, and ofc unique access to young people. big “you can only watch” meme moment.
