Does anyone known if it is possible to configure #NetNewsWire to only refresh manually?

I couldn’t find such an option in the mobile apps. I still hope I did not know where to look.

I searched Github issues too.

I hope @gruber or @brentsimmons could share a hint.

@al3x @gruber There is for the Mac app but not for the iOS app. Why would you like to refresh manually only? (Most people who bring up the subject of refreshing are trying to get it to refresh *more* often!)

@brentsimmons @gruber Firstly thank you (I am writing this without my glasses so sorry for the typos)

Mine is slightly different (and possibly odd). I like to mark all read before doing a refresh.

Differently said, I like having very stirict control over the “inbox” I work on.

The alternative would be defining other smart filters to allow cleaning up. As far as I read, smart lists have been discussed but not designed & planned.

@al3x @brentsimmons @gruber It’s not a visual prototype but I proposed a design for smart filtering in NetNewsWire last year, with the hope of bringing that kind of functionality one step closer to reality:
