We have proposed to open negotiations with Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia to extend the EU’s 'Roam Like at Home' regime to these Western Balkan countries.

This would allow people travelling between the EU and Western Balkans to call, text and use mobile data without roaming surcharges, making it easier and more affordable for them to stay in touch while abroad for study, work or holidays.
