When an account that's password-protected is compromised, you can change the password, on that and other vulnerable accounts.

But what do you do when an account that's protected by biometric data (thumb print, facial recognition, etc) is hacked? Do you get a new thumb? Or a new face?

Biometrics is something you are.
Add to that, something you have, a physical token (changeable).
Add to that, something you know, a passphrase or "notable information" (changeable, as long as you don't use your mother's real name).
Add to that, perhaps, something you do (changeable).

But how many things merit the full hassle?
