Microsoft released an IPv6 Technology Preview for Windows 2000. It works! Management is all done with the command line and you're limited when it comes to support, but it does work! My Compaq Deskpro EN is now talking to the modern IPv6 world.

@mroach At least that is probably obscure enough you might not get scanned by worms and other garbage trying to exploit old Windows if you went IPv6-only with a public address

@mixdup My router config doesn’t allow any incoming traffic, so it’s not actually exposed. I did consider setting up a VM on a separate VLAN and allowing it and seeing what happens.
