I had a very invasive dental procedure today and the periodontist was like, "It's fine if you decide to not take the antibiotics I prescribed, or if you only want to take them for a couple of days."

I will be taking the full course of antibiotics, tyvm.

I'm actually not in any pain and the swelling has gone down quite a bit with only five or so hours of sleep!

Still, Mastodon, you are my witnesses: pain meds and antibiotics at 3:30 AM. Better to prevent pain than chase it.

(Just did some research and apparently 1/3 of people who have this procedure don't take pain meds!)
