Can someone explain to me why Oracle is holding on to the JavaScript trademark? No one actually pays them for it, right? It matters less than nothing in the real world and just comes off petty as hell.
@raymondcamden Companies are always suing each other (like when SCO went after folks for using linux and when Microsoft went after folks for the same thing). I'm guessing that someone in Oracle is pushing for them to hold onto it so that if someone comes at them with "You are violating 900 of our patents", they can come back at them with "You are violating 130 of our trademarks".
