@daringfireball Xbox needs to create something uniquely different for their hardware or OS that is so amazing that developers are willing to create Xbox-only games that use the unique capabilities.

Unfortunately, the costs of AAA games are so high, developers need to sell them across multiple platforms to break even.

It is a tough position to be in.
