Doctors at Barts Health are developing new education course to improve sensitive communication with trans patients using role play scenarios. This will be rolled out to medical students at Queen Mary University of London and doctors at Barts Health NHS Trust.

To ensure the scenarios are driven by lived experience, we are inviting trans and gender diverse people to take part in co-design focus groups.

We’re looking for people who are 18+, Identify as trans or gender diverse and have experience using NHS services to take part in 2 focus groups. The groups will run in February and March and will involve talking about experiences of healthcare, running scenarios and reviewing them. The focus groups are confidential.

Participants will be paid £27.50 an hour plus a £5 internet cost per focus group. Your ideas and experiences will help improve the care of patients in the future.
