@Enea90 @EUCommission @Petesmom You don't seem to understand how democratic governments work, we give them power and a set of tasks, THEY are the ones who are supposed to do things, that's why we call them civil servants.
Our actions as individuals are very limited, their actions as voices of the people, and specifically the voices of all europeans, are the ones that really can make a difference.

Is like your expecting me to collect taxes and detain those who commit fraud, that's their job.

@Johns_priv @EUCommission @Petesmom I disagree with the assessment that regular people have no power, and that it is governments who have to figure out everything. There are regular people like me and you that have gone to fight alongside the Armed Forces of Ukraine, or who are contributing in any possible way to Ukraine's victory.

If everyone were to support Ukraine's war effort within their capacity, instead of taking that attitude that I will just mind my own business and it is for the governments to solve everything, then Russia would stand no chance.

@Enea90 @EUCommission @Petesmom Some people can personally contribute to the war effort, most really can't.
I have a job, a toddler and zero military training.

There are professional military forces in Europe that could take Russia if there was political will for it, that's a fact.

But there are too many interests around for them to do anything, specially for Germany, that's why I used that language, cause as with everything, they rather let it be destroyed if they can earn money with it.
