If Loops can implement native ATProto support and maybe Nostr later, I think that would be in the best interest of the Loops community.

I'm a diehard ActivityPub fanboi, but that doesn't mean we have to limit our platforms to just ActivityPub.

Just look at WAFRN, they are proof that you can have multi-protocol support natively.

Something to consider IMO, what are your thoughts?

truth is that doing it even using bsky appview is supere simple. And also: you probably would get away with something on the lines of "app password conecting to random pds per user", so people could use their existing accounts without forcing a migration.

What wafrn does "expects you to be on our pds" a bit and makes more sense in our case, but yeah! ;D

That's not bad idea but ONLY if it will be possible (for user) to block any interaction from any direction especially weird places like nostr.

@dansup I wish more would include Diaspora connectivity, I have a few very active Diaspora followers, in fact I think they're my most active followers.
