I should share what I have been building: https://tsjo.ch an index for the indie/slow web. You can sign up using an invite code from an existing member or drop me an mail at invites at tsjo dot ch.

You subscribe to curated lists or individual sites and the app makes a dynamic OPML for your #rss reader.

I moved away from all big tech sources of information, into my rss aggregator #elfeed in #emacs, a challenge I had was to find relevant blogs/sites in areas that I loved.

Tsjoch | The Slow Web Discovery Engine

I have started filling it with my own view of the world, would love help building out the categories and entries for people to discover what is out there in different niches of our beloved internet.
As an example, here is a curated list with active people in the #emacs world: https://tsjo.ch/collections/the-people-of-emacs the list is ever growing as I add more feeds to the index. One click to subscribe, download the opml to your #rss reader and you are up-to-date :)

The name "tsjoch" is a frysian word, it has multiple meanings, first it commonly means cheers, so a hat tip to anyone using it. Another meaning, in the Frisian anthem is to rise up, in this case to take a stand against the algorithms.
@credmp how is this different than emacs planet?
@tusharhero the indie web is of course larger than just emacs (I have many interests). It does not show the feeds, but it creates and manages the opml for your own rss reader. So, 2 different concepts, planet emacslife gives you a webpage and a feed dedicated to emacs, tsjo.ch aims for the wide world in your rss reader.
