I drove a Kia Niro EV today. It's the first EV I've ever driven. It was pretty nice.

It was a rental, to get home from Portland. Amtrak cancelled our train and then, a bit later, cancelled the backup buses.

@jackbrewster The instant torque is so fun to drive with EVs. Used EVs are going for bargain prices now that many leases are ending from the government rebate era.

@jackbrewster I'm sorry you had to get a rental, but I'm glad you liked the Niro EV. That's my daily driver, but mine is a 2022 (they changed the body style in 2023). I love mine so much that we got the kidlet a used Niro Hybrid when she needed a new-to-her car.
