Just completed my taxes for 2025 and it feels great to be done (it’s always complicated as I have my own business).

However: knowing that my thousands will go to ICE and the military instead of National Parks and education, while the richest and most corrupt pay nothing, makes my blood boil.

@onpaperwings My ideal scenario for funding the government would be one night per year all government employees dressing up as their project they need funded and going house to house with a small plastic bucket. Citizens answer the door with a plate of cash and ask, “And what are you supposed to be?”
