I just defeated Okumura in Persona 5 Royal. This fight is a lot harder than in the original and so far the it has been the only change I didn't like.

Hopefully it is an isolated case as I liked all the changes so far.

@rakuno Okumura is a nightmare that nearly stopped my first playthru in its tracks and the primary reason I haven’t done a second.

@doubleaa Yeah, I only managed it thanks to some tips from a guide I am using. Even then it still took me three tries to defeat him.

A New Game+ though should be a lot more doable even if it is just with Joker carrying the entire team through the entire fight.

@rakuno @doubleaa I've only ever done the "put the difficulty to max and burn the boss/adds down with the increased crit damage" trick with that fight, it's total BS

@COMPU73E @doubleaa I heard about that trick too but I was way too scared to try it so I tried on normal difficult.

It was still a pain to win that fight. I guess they didn't think too much about that fight when they decided to change it.
