SamA few years ago my birthday present to myself was a (cheap) digital #microscope. I finally hauled it out to look at some tiny #flowers.
The stamens and pistils are about a millimeter across, the flower perhaps 5mm across and 10-15mm above the ground (the janky tripod setup is about 2 feet tall).
The #microscope is on a cool 3D moving mount that allows the tripod to be placed somewhat roughly, and the microscope itself to be adjusted very finely, so that it can pan throughout a small volume, but not change its orientation. The mount was a gift from my brother after I showed him the microscope. Thanks bro!
