I wrote an article on my first year on #Pixelfed and how I'm trying to reclaim my photography from the algorithm.

@ftrc
Interesting, i wanted to do nearly the same, to write about my first year and month (I was waiting for the 100. account), on Pixelfed, but as an admin, and how I tried to get the punk music community to the Fediverse.
But no idea when I will find the time to do it...
@joergi As an admin would be an entirely different thing. I hope you find the time to write that; I'm curious about your perspective! =]
@ftrc
It will definitely also be a rant about the scene, which always pretends to be 100% DIY, so anti everything, but uses insta&FB and worst, X!
And they all have no time for another platform, but come on.
I have been sitting in enough tour vans and backstage rooms to know that they are bored waiting...
And punk & hardcore was never going the easy way, and especially not hanging out with Nazis - but still using their platforms seems to be okay. So a lot of disappointment about the scene #punk
@joergi that sounds like something I'd love to read about!

A must read @dansup !

I guess this is exactly what Dan made Pixelfed for and why he spend all his free time in this project.

I hope he will read it, it's so positive!

#pixelfed @pixelfed

@ftrc you just got one additional follower on your pixelfed profile 😉
@nathan Thank you! I hope you like the film pictures I publish there =]
