Thanks again for L good wishes. I went to see her today. She is in a lot of pain with the arm. That was made slightly worse by the fact that they are unsure how to work with blind people. She had the ability to call a nurse for assistance via a bell, but it wasn't in easy reach. She didn't know where it was.
She couldn't get to her phone because she couldn't see where it had been put. So I at least sorted all that out. That has born fruit because I called her just now and she answered the phone. She also now has books to listen to. I intend to do some more on that when I go back tomorrow.
As for coming home, it is very very early days and I cannot see that being for a little while.
