Had to get it out of my system. Will probably turn it into a proper project over the next few visits, maybe do some medium format portraits of the vehicles + owners or something. For now this will do: https://gosha.net/2026/delica #得利卡
My Delica obsession → Gosha Tcherednitchenko

I’ve been collecting variants of this vehicle all over Taiwan

Gosha Tcherednitchenko
@gosha It's so fun, and the pictures are very pretty! It feels like the equivalent in France would be the Twingo, even thought its design changed so much in the last ears unfortunately.
@thomasorus Thank you 🥰 I feel like the french spiritual twin to the Delica is the Citroën C15: https://eupolicy.social/@jmaris/115860595238097654

Attached: 1 image I often hear Americans & rich brits justify buying oversized, polluting vehicles by claiming they need them because they live in the "countryside". I call bullshit, Ladies and Gentlemen, allow me to introduce, the Citroen C15⬇ #C15 #carBrain #CarDependency #SUV #NoSUV #Pickup_truck

@gosha This is so great! A Delica camper 4x4 has been on my list a while. Some day!
@nazhamid there’s a few of these around, too! But they’re leisure cars, not business tools, so CMC is not making them anymore and the ones you see are vintage.
@gosha Indeed. All the ones imported here are older 25+ year ones so they can be brought here. I just love the size. Cars have gotten way too big here.
@nazhamid oh! Are people importing from Japan? Right hand drive and all?
@gosha Yep! Lots of JDM imports across the country. Landcruisers, GR lines, Delicas, other vintage models that never made it here.
@nazhamid surprising the Land Cruiser didn’t make it to the US, feels like it’d have been very popular
@gosha Oh, we have plenty. People just like importing pristine ones from Japan.
