So, aside from other things that have been going on, I've had a reason for not posting as much lately;
Recently, I got into Balatro, and, being who I am, wanted to see if it could be modded. The answer is yes, quite easily, actually. I had found a few joker replacers, but they were incomplete, which bothered me.
So instead, I've been working on replacing every single joker with a slutty and/or silly catgirl/boy/enby myself. It's taken me... a couple weeks, I think? But I finally finished all 150 jokers. There are still a few that might be subject to change, but I've moved on to replacing other cards now.
I do not know if I will release it to the public, largely for anxiety reasons, and also because it's not set up as a proper mod (I'm just manually replacing the files), but I just wanted you to know I have been doing something constructive.

If I could upload more than just four images, this would be much easier, but alas... Anyway, the next four pages.

The last two pages.
Notably, the design for Cartomancer, while still fitting with the rest because cat, is intended to go along with the first thing I had done to mod Balatro, which was altering the Tarot cards to be various KV gods.
Similarly, Astronomer is intended to replicate the style of the Planet cards from Celestial Funk.
Also, because I discovered that such is also very easy to do, I edited the localization file so that some of the card names are changed, because funni.

Also while I'm here, and since I mentioned them, the Tarot cards.
This was my first adventure in modding Balatro myself, and I may revisit them (though I already have a bit; when I realized I could change the names of cards, I altered these to match their KV titles. I also have been experimenting with including colored portions of the card to help remind what they do).
I also did the Spectral cards, but decided to let myself be a bit more "freeform" with them instead of strictly trying to replicate the original card, especially since a lot of these uh... don't depict a person. But I did try to keep "on theme" of what the card does.
Soul is the only one I didn't bother to change, as well as Black Hole, since Celestial Funk changes that.
I've also been working on replacing the playing cards as well, though this was an earlier effort, and while I have attempted some changes to them recently, I may rework them entirely.
Presently, they're in the KV Primal Aspect colors, and each suit represents a different pantheon;
Spades is Arman, hearts is Lupeleon, Clubs is Darobian (although I only had one god designed for them, so I had to use a couple mortals), and diamonds is Heralsim.
Also, if it's not obvious, I've been experimenting with a "dark mode" color scheme.

@slitherkitty simple curiosity, do you think you'll release this at some point? I may be interested, I think
@Skye_Wilson As I implied in the first post, I don't have plans to because this was merely intended as a personal project, but if setting it up as a proper mod (perhaps using Malverk) turns out to be easy enough, then I may reconsider.
@slitherkitty alright! No pressure then, if you don't think it's easily doable, that's okay!
