Collegio di Spagna 🍊 for #fotovorschlag "Zitrusfrüchte" / "Citrus Fruits"

@meoralis' beautiful orange tree window (check it out! ✨), reminded me that I had one too! It's not a full tree like hers, just some branches pretending to be a tree πŸ˜‚βœ¨

"Non Plus Ultra" – how cool is that! 🀩 We say this is German when something is the best of the best. 🀭
I must rescind my statement. Peter has said he's heard it (Might be an old people thing πŸ˜‰)
Yeah, we would say something like "When it comes to social media, Pixelfed is the non plus ultra" πŸ™‚ (though we spell it as one word: das Nonplusultra). English seems to use "ne plus ultra", but we adopted the Latin phrase as it is seen here. (My rabbit-hole senses are tingling ... Why are there two versions?! It's a shame I didn't choose Latin at school ... But who am I kidding, the grammar would have killed me)
I have no idea - but this is what the folks at Latin discussion are saying about it! Unfortunately, I cannot be of more help because I know 0 latin πŸ˜‚βœ¨
Me neither ... *hisses at Latin grammar* πŸˆβ€β¬›
