Chainsaw Bat-Man is the most normal thing in #AbsoluteBatman. Among the references I have noticed in the latest issue:
- Berserk: the Eclipse arc, Behelits, nu-Griffith
- Resident Evil 2: Umbrella forces, William Birking, the G-Virus (eye on shoulder included)
- Legacy of Kain: Soul reaver: Fucking YES, when Batman loses the breather he adjusts the cape in the same was as Raziel does.

It's a new generation of artists that were 90's / early 2000s kids. My generation.
