The story behind this photo tells how this woman confronted her teenage complexes caused by a skin condition called vitiligo (I have too), which causes depigmentation. She marks those areas of her skin with a marker and smiles proudly.
I tried to capture that feeling with my camera, to respect the way she wanted to present herself, integrating my artistic vision and my respect for her story.
