Just got back home. My crazy ass hauled this a mile and a half up to the top of Craggy Pinnacle (5890 ft) and back…I hope the pictures turn out well. Blew through a roll of #KodakTriX in the SLR, and between today and separate stops yesterday I did 12 sheets of #IlfordFP4 in the #Graflex. Also came home to some HC-110 that I ordered, so I’m looking forward to testing it out. I’ve never used it before.

It’s also the first time I’ve been on the Parkway since Helene. There are entire sections of sides of mountains where almost all the trees are down. It was bizarre. There wasn’t a great place to pull over and get a picture. I also saw two black bear cubs and an adult. In one day!

A tree indicated as a “treasure tree" with a tag on a local greenway. I happen to agree!

Structurae rigidae et flexibiles.
The most complex relations are those formed between elements that we encounter every day, yet we do not pause to observe them or adopt a perspective that records and documents these geometric and structural interactions.

Some pics from the huge (for this region at least) snow we got last month. I haven't shoveled snow since I lived in the mountains, and boy did it drive home how out of shape I've gotten this winter (and over the last 15 years). 😅

I adjusted my exposure compensation a stop and a half, but I think I could've gone further. Snow is bright!
