I calibrated these hygrometers and now I'm even more confused.
Over 24 hours in the calibration bag the bigger one read 71% and the cheap white one from Poundland read 77& - interestingly closer. The bag has salts to provide 75% humidity so that's the target.
So +4% and -2%.
So I internally adjusted the bigger posh one - meant for cigar cabinets - and after a few hours to settle it says 54% which is the adjusted figure - and the white one says 59 so -2 its really 57%.
The middle Zigbee sensor currently reads 57.99. Usually bang in the middle. I guess I trust it's right? Dunno, I was hoping for more agreement here!
(The black one is very sensitive, even changes if you pick it up, so unlike the other two it's not averaging over 10-15 minutes or more, but has been mostly reading 54-58% which points to the middle sensor being correct or near - but it's swings are confusing).
Did this cos I wanted to double check that the Zigbee sensor was correct. it seems to be.
