Subbed so I should see it. Because the period of time between World War I and the Nazi rise power is some interest to me, I took interest in the details that the Nazis managed to grab more power in 1933 through intimidation.
One thing to know that I draw from the Wikipedia page on Hitler’s rise power just how damn violent and chaotic politics were between the two wars.
1931 could be described in modern terms as gang warfare.

I don’t know if you’ve heard any of the reporting about the gerrymandering in Texas in particular, but they redrew the districts on the assumption that all the people who voted for him Hispanics and blacks that jump ship basically would continue to do so as falling apart because everything he’s done has made largely the mail non-white population who threw their hat in with him completely change their opinion.
This will only mean that we face particular danger in the US.
Because these are not the people who can back down, they can only double down so the only thing they can do is become more and more violent as public opinion crumbles.
The current Congress is hugely unpopular and all the special elections suggest the Republicans are in for a wipeout.
The money behind Donald Trump is busy pouring tons of money into the Democratic Party, particularly Californian Democrats, which terrifies me.
The last thing we need is Vichy Dems.

A good one Randahl… it gives not just US citizens the means and hope of ending their #FascistAdministration, but also hope they will succeed in doing so. And for the sake of the whole world, I certainly hope they do so this November mid-terms.
