Humbly requesting stories about something you've done / are doing lately to withdraw support from the death cult and/or create alternatives for yourself and others. Nothing is too small, or too imperfect, or too late; i just need a little positive energy of this particular flavor to feel less alone and angry today.
@redoak even though it's sometimes awkward as hell I've started having more specific conversations with my patients than "are there any resources I could help you access today?" aka asking everyone regardless of how they present themselves if they have adequate access to food resources, do they need help with utility bills, I see you haven't had a pap smear in 7 years did you know we can do those extremely low cost, etc. resources only help if people know about them.

@redoak and then on a more personal level, I have friends who are not white/have not white children who are unwell given everything and going out into crowded public places causes them so much anxiety rn. So on my lunch break I try and offer specific help- like I'm running to the grocery store over lunch I'd be happy to pick up anything you need if you can get me a list by X time.

I think the specifics are more helpful, I get so many more bites than if I just say "how can I help you"
