In about 10 years time, we will be talking about the USA as we talked about Soviet Russia's polluted industrial cities - unlivable, unhealthy and unwanted, and rest of the world will have clean, cheap energy.

China's implementation has its faults, but the idea is solid. We need to switch to solar and wind as fast as possible. Nuclear has its place as a backup, but not something that will power 100% of the supply.
