Very sorry to hear about the death of Aldus founder Paul Brainerd, the giant who gave us PageMaker and the desktop publishing revolution that followed. In the late 1980s and early 1990s, I used PageMaker to put together my animation fanzine, which led directly to my career in tech journalism. RIP.

@harrymccracken I am sad to hear this, but, man, that cover brought back a sudden indelible memory. I was a huge animation nerd as a teenager and had THAT exact issue. I had no idea you put that together! Thank you, for in an era before the internet was widely available, you helped a fan connect.
