All mod actions are harmful

Only people who abuse the rules feel the need to say this.

Not shocking at all.

The RAM/Memory shortage is actually about Intel catching up. - Lemmy.World

There hasn’t been a real change. No new unplanned hardware is driving the sudden run on components. Yes, data centers, bla bla bla, but that is surface level nonsense. That hardware is slower to respond and the real world timeline does not make sense. There haven’t been any major breakthroughs in AI in the last two years, we are in an era of small incremental change along the periphery. Strangling memory, retards the entire market. It makes strategic sense to tank everything until Intel can get their house in order. It fits within the scope of Intel’s bailout and possible anecdotes. It is Epstein emails level logic typical of the terminal societal cancer of inherited wealth without meritocratic order. It gives China an enormous chance to catch up at the most critical time in silicon.

Same logic as “if you got nothing to hide you got nothing to worry about”. What a genuinely dumb fucking thing to say. It’s like saying “only criminals are against the death penalty hurr durr”.
you’re a dumbass if that’s the equivalence you derive from that statement.
