@pixelfed It will be nice if it will be possible to change a photo in a feed, I sometimes by accident upload the wrong photo, but only discover it after uploadig other feeds.

@wendinoakland @pixelfed Yes I have set it to black, but that is not default. Try to log out and delete cookies or use an other device where you are not loged in, then you can see that whit is default.

@pixelfed awesome! Have the huge issues been resolved already? I tried it many months (or was it even longer?) and it was barely usable and extremely slow, despite being low traffic at that point.

@pixelfed this somehow still needs a little bit of optimization settings to control the quality of photo or feed we get, i think maybe because servers are slightly sparsed and the images are high quality

it gave me some hurdles,
also, what is the build idea?

@pixelfed I was going to show this to a friend but was very surprised I could not find a slideshow mode for my profile anywhere in the app. Moving between photo to photo and viewing it in full screen was very cumbersome!

@sourdoughstereo You can find many on Mastodon where you can also post photos, videos etc., but also text - so they have just one account for everything. Or they implement their peertube and pixelfeed there.
On Mastodon you have also Bandcamp with #BandcampFriday

@sourdoughstereo I don't follow so many musicians but you should find some with the hashtag. You can find artists on #MastoArt
If you search for *celebrities*, it's difficult. We have e.g. GeorgeTakei. Many left the Fediverse because they couldn't get the figures with broadcasting only. This style doesn't work much.
But it's not a problem of Pixelfed, it's one of the Fediverse versus people looking only for follower numbers.
