@pixelfed That’s awesome! But now the question why there is not a single famous person, band, actor, artist etc on Pixelfed? At least some of them must be anti Big Tech, right?

@sourdoughstereo You can find many on Mastodon where you can also post photos, videos etc., but also text - so they have just one account for everything. Or they implement their peertube and pixelfeed there.
On Mastodon you have also Bandcamp with #BandcampFriday

@sourdoughstereo I don't follow so many musicians but you should find some with the hashtag. You can find artists on #MastoArt
If you search for *celebrities*, it's difficult. We have e.g. GeorgeTakei. Many left the Fediverse because they couldn't get the figures with broadcasting only. This style doesn't work much.
But it's not a problem of Pixelfed, it's one of the Fediverse versus people looking only for follower numbers.
