When you see your media telling you that Canadians aren't going to the United states because of tariffs, I implore you to understand that the tariffs are the least of the reasons why.

First and foremost is the threat of military conquest.

Second, is the kidnapping of Canadians by ICE, being held for months without charge.

Third, the United States is fomenting sedition in the province of Alberta.

Fourth is the illegal trade war and tariffs.

There are certainly other reasons such as the American leadership is, or are, protecting pedos, and how the United States is threatening to annex Canada's neighbour, Greenland, and their invasion of Venezuela, and so on.

The tariffs are the smallest part and not even the whole story of that part.

@thedoh It's funny how the American news media spins low Canadian travel numbers as some sort of economic protest. No dude we just don't want to end up in a concentration camp.

If Canada and the US were simply in a trade dispute (i.e. there was nothing happening beyond tariffs) you would only see minor changes in travel. Look at the history of the trade dispute over softwood lumber (in which the US has applied arguably illegal tariffs multiple times). While there was a tariff inspired dispute it didn't lead to US boycotts.

However when you start threatening annexation, and that is what calling us the '51st state' is, Canadians will respond very differently and now you see US boycotts.

Then you add the threat of being shipped off to a concentration camp and avoiding the US become a no brainer.
