Is there a reason you call it "OpenSource solution" and not "OpenSource projects" like everyone else? Is there a difference between these two?
Technically solutions can be provided by projects and companies. A solution like Open Desk is a composition of Open-Source-Software delivered by a companies that are selling their expertise and providing human-power and guaranteed support-response-times.
