I do genuinely feel insane because people are so much more likely to comment negative things on my art that is not meant for them. Vs me drawing something specifically for someone who requested it. And they never respond LMAO. Sorry that i feel fuckin terrible that it feels like the loudest feedback i get is when i get dogpiled by 12 year olds with makima icons
i'm probably still hashtag traumatized by that alise person trying to be my friend while screenshotting me talking to them and "pressing like" on their art to post in their discord servers. so like I do not feel like any "positive" comments I get are real because they're actually part of the network known as the THE BEAST comprosied of a bunch of rando strangers who find me funny to screenshot and make fun of for some reason🤷 so the only people who are /gen to me are the people who comment fuckass shit. and my brain is always on defense mode for everyone who talks to me in a neutral or positive tone because it's actually true that feds and ops are pretending to be friendly on social media for lolcow mining

@scumsuck fwiw I picked up the doodle last night from the mail and I loved it! We're going to frame the doodle of the cats. The valentine's card cracked us up too.

Social media being a nightmare is... a sad part of the times we live in.
I long for a kinder, better world. Where artists can make art that's deeply interesting to themselves without getting so much negativity.
Creation can be hard enough without that, and creation in all its variety is so worthy.
If only more people learned to ignore art they disliked and uplift artists who try making myriad things.
