@daringfireball Don’t forget the lack of pixel perfection in iOS 26. Just for fun, switch on ‘Show Edges’ (previously named ‘Button shapes’) under the Accessibility settings. Especially, look at the interface of Apple Podcast, Safari and Apple store. You will have a good laugh how bad the UI gets.

@daringfireball this is embarrassing. This is how a 2nd year student implements a feature… half-assed, then rushes out even more half-assed “fixes” that makes things worse. No overall vision or top level design. Just slap-dash hacks to try to match some designer’s tech demo
