Moderna has a flu shot. It works. It works well. It is safe. It is safe in people with compromised immune systems (like cancer patients!).

Trump’s nutjob at FDA, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., appears to have ordered FDA to refuse to even accept the application to review the shot for approval.

RFK wants to kill your grandma. Fuck RFK.

@mcnado the flu shot worked great this season - everyone around got sick but me and my vaccinated kids. Thank goodness, because ever since catching Covid 3x everything goes straight into my lungs. 🥲

The worst mistake would be to believe they're doing this out of magical thinking or distrust in science. It is not. It is an accurately defined political agenda that want to cut unproductive and/or low-income branches of society, in order to boost GDP.

@77nn @mcnado 1000% agree. If I recall correctly, in the beginning RFK said they'd keep the abortion pill. Immediately after taking office, basically said "nevermind!"

Trump did the same thing with...everything.

It was so clear it was just a massive ploy to pander to various groups to get in control. Greedy sadists, of so many varieties.

There was never a single move of theirs that didn't have an ulterior motive. What makes me sad is desperate (and uneducated) people just get sucked in.
