I'm beta testing my speed reading app, Stutter, for the Google Play Store. I need a few more testers to qualify to publish the app to production.

If you'd like to help or try the app, you can join the beta by joining the google group here. Feel free to set email delivery to none.

The app will be available to test at this link shortly.

I need people to install the app and keep it installed for 2 weeks. Once we get 12 in total I can publish.

If you hate Google and want the app another way, it's also in the queue to publish with F-Droid, and available on Github as an apk release.

Please boost for visibility. Thanks

Stutter Testers - Google Groups

Yay! The app is ready to test! If you're in the testing group you can install it here:

https://play.google.com/apps/testing/org.tomasino.stutter

Please leave it installed for 2 weeks so we can clear this release hurdle. Thanks!

@tomasino something weird is going on, I joined the group but I have no access to group's content and testing link still doesn't work.

Do I need to wait for you approval to join the group?

@vort3 i made it so that people couldn't see each other's emails when you join so as to protect your privacy. It should let you access the app after joining, but I'm not sure if there's a lag time to the access. Everything in this process is a bit hokey.
9 more to go, then 14 days!

@tomasino

> If you've been invited to become a tester, make sure you're signed in to the account that was invited to the testing program. If you've been invited to a Google Group as part of the program, make sure you've joined the Group.

Please either create a google group or invite me via my gmail address (I can PM it to you).

@tomasino tbh I already have the app but just want to help you with publishing it to the store.
@vort3 aha, okay, converting the testing list to a Google group!
@tomasino hello, i installed the apk version and starting reading some blog articles (in french). it's an amazing experience to read text with stutter. for now, i read loud the words in my head. it's instective, i don't know why.
have you tried to read long text with it ?

@didje oh yes. I read most long forms online with it now. If you push the speed a bit faster than comfortable you'll be able to practice stopping the sub vocalization. Once you do that you can push your speed even faster.

Enjoy!
