#Valeriia, a pastry chef, completely changed her life after #Russia’s full-scale invasion of #Ukraine.
Today, she works at #BlueBird_Tech, leading a team of technicians assembling the #Chuika drone detectors.
These devices save the lives of #Ukrainian_Defenders by detecting #Russian_FPV drones in advance via radio signals.
"My husband changed careers and started working in drone manufacturing. I became interested in the field too, and he invited me to join him. That’s how I started soldering drones. I was good at it: while the guys assembled one device, I could assemble three. I think it might be because women often have slightly better fine motor skills," #Valeriia explained.
#Valeriia draws her greatest inspiration from the feedback of #Ukrainian_Warriors. While she used to feel proud that her drones were
destroying #Russian soldiers, she now feels a deep sense of responsibility.
"Our work has a different significance now. What we produce helps save the lives of our Defenders. And that’s probably even more important," #Valeriia shared.
In the future, she plans to learn to fly #FPV drones herself and teach the art of soldering professionally to others.
