Organized my desk area this week and I like how it turned out. Basically clean desktop, new mechanical Nuphy keyboard, 3D printed desk undercounts for my Mac Studio and my MacBook Air.

(the crap in my window is wireless bridges I'm testing)

@mathowie ok Matthew stop getting all jacked up on the night slammers, robot jammers, and springboard slammers for a moment and tell me about this keyboard and the e-ink display, stat

@codinghorror the keyboard is a Nuphy Halo75 that I swapped keycaps and added a volume knob to control my Mac sound. The e-ink is the TRMNL and they're pretty fun to program with custom layouts that run off a battery for months between charges.

@mathowie @codinghorror fair warning the trmnl CEO guy is probably someone you don’t want to be giving money to.

I can’t find the original homophonic asshole posts — looks like he’s cleaned out his twitter account, and all that remains is the pic with him in a pro-trump shirt.

I already had a trmnl, but definitely won’t sign up for their annual dev service or buy another device. I can’t cut off every maga asshole, but I definitely can avoid helping them build new businesses.

Thankfully it’s apparently pretty easy to make your own:
