Edward ChampionI've been playing old tracks I loved as a kid through these new speakers. The Art of Noise's "Island" really doesn't get enough credit for its mixing. Even with the limited samples they had in 1989, the lows and the mids (particularly from 0:46 to 1:40), with the screech and the gentle strings, was mixed eccentrically, but always with a consideration of the full sound spectrum. They were clearly angling for their own answer to Quincy Jones.
