Anyone who would be interested in doing some commission art? I'd kind-of like some silly propaganda style posters about modern performance optimization ideas. Still brainstorming on all the slogans and such, but curious if there was anyone interested in this and what the prices would be.
I'd be happy for the result to also be made more publicly available under a relevant, reasonably permissive CC license if that was appealing or not at the artist's preference.
Also, happy to have suggestions for slogans in this spirit here.
The inspiration for this was a comment I made recently "Pointers are the enemy.".
Current ideas:
- Chasing pointers stalls cycles
- Victory through locality
- Careless pointers cost performance
- Stay calm and avoid dereferencing
- We can do it! Build on the stack!

@rlabrecque FWIW, I looked to see what it did, as this isn't an individual artist style but historical one. The results helped confirm the idea is good, but more as a prototype or sketch, not the quality I'd really want here.
I feel like this is one of the (very few) good uses of ai images: testing out an idea to see if it makes any sense visually, and then working with am artist or designer to bring to life.
