If neurotypical people could just understand that autistic people are simply good with information and spotting problems. We just are. We're not being a smartass or arrogant.
But we can't do social aspects of life.
Whereas non autistic people are good at social aspects but not information.
So if you could help us with the social aspects of life, then we'll help you with the information aspects of life.
And then we’ll make a superteam!
@WatchingTVnFilm I was explaining to a friend that I didn't learn how to study until the 2nd year of university (when I was 19).
Nobody explained what I was supposed to do at school but, fortunately, without much application or effort I still did rather well at certain types of tests eventually managing to just get into uni.
The worst part - in the final year I was explaining stuff to those who went on to get firsts while I again just scraped through.
You make an excellent suggestion.
