This is very worrying and very important. They want to stop night times, basically, and illuminate the Earth 24/7.

It occurred to me that now those of us who are the first generation who joined the Internet in the 1990s and 2000s are getting old, we need a backup plan.

I've noticed internet friends suddenly disappearing and either we never find out what happened to them or we find out they suddenly died.

Because most of us don't really know each other’s contact details. This is uncharted territory because we are the first generation to live such a disconnected, temporary, casual social lives.
