I personally prefer deflating tires in middle of night with small teams of 2-3 people - when it comes to targeting domestic state terrorists, from out of province, who stay at local Vancouver Island hotels. It's more effective to delay their domestic terrorism actions than noise protests. Well organized, large sit-in protests, phonebanking, reviews bombing, email flooding & flyers distribution on all car windows in parking lots works well to pressure businesses who choose to enable state domestic terrorists/mercenaries.

A good awl is a good friend.

Historically, awl (and knitting needle) punctures have been found to be easier to fix. If you really wanted to deflate a tire permanently, in history, you would probably have wanted a flat blade with some width to it, inserted into the sidewall. A hunting knife, historically, would have been very effective, but they have been found to be harder to conceal or explain, so saboteurs frequently had to make do with pocket knives.

Strictly historically of course. I'm in no way advocating this dangerous and illegal activity. Please don't slash fascists' tires using a brisk sawing motion to increase the width of the cut (historically, a serrated blade would help with this). All I can tell you is that resistance movements in the past have had success with these sort of highly destructive tactics. No one should employ them today.

@intransitivelie Yeah, we've used heavy slash blades to immobilize fashy industry vehicles & state mercenaries before too. We use awls for faster delay action when we know there's more than 10 state domestic terrorists vehicles in one parking lot.

I've been brought into more than one police station & released with zero charges. They can't prove shit. Statute of limitations has passed for me so fuck em.

@PhoenixSerenity
I bow to your experience. Good hunting ✊
