I really don’t understand how this can be viewed as anything other than a win.

Necessary social programs, including taxing and auditing the rich, are getting funded through September while the entire DHS runs out in 2 weeks. That’s fantastic. That’s the best fucking news I’ve heard since before the second Trump term began.

Because the priority right now isn’t social programs and funding for shit Trump will just cut when the GOP gains unopposed power and eliminates democracy FFS. Getting a cookie by finding the elimination of democracy isn’t a fucking win.
